Identifying how to take care of self and the environment.

Victoria Abou-Ghalioum is a Doctoral Candidate at The Ohio State University (as of April 2022). Victoria is studying environmental sociology and psychology, interested in the effects of social identity on engagement in environmental movement organizing and sustainable/pro-environmental behavior. In this podcast episode, Victoria talks about the importance of taking care of yourself and our role in protecting the environment. Victoria respects the importance of being engaged in the community and working with people to learn how to mitigate climate change. She is involved in volunteering in both national and metro parks, which has allowed her to become an organizer of a group that impacts social change. Listen as Victoria talks through her journey from childhood to an environmental justice pioneer. Listen as she talks about how we all need to live in a healthy, sustainable world.
