Bring See Brilliance to your school or community and give students access to engaging, culturally relevant STEM and STEAM experiences. Our in-school programming integrates hands-on activities into the school day through classroom workshops, assemblies, learning labs, and customized multi-week experiences aligned with academic goals. Our after-school programming provides enrichment beyond the traditional school day through after-school clubs, evening workshops, family engagement events, weekend programs, and summer experiences.

Schools, educators, community organizations, volunteers, and corporate partners can get involved by hosting a program, sponsoring an experience, volunteering, or collaborating with us to create meaningful learning opportunities that help young people discover their brilliance.

Why the STEAM Coalition Matters

Include graphics and subsections here to break this up a bit.

Today’s children are growing up in a world where access to STEAM learning directly impacts educational attainment, workforce readiness, and long-term economic mobility. Yet access remains uneven:

  • Students from low-income households are less than half as likely to have access to high-quality STEAM enrichment outside of school.

  • Black and Latinx students remain significantly underrepresented in STEAM careers, despite making up a growing share of the population.

  • Early exposure matters: research shows that interest in STEAM often forms before middle school, yet many students do not encounter hands-on STEAM experiences until well into middle school—if at all.

The STEAM Coalition addresses this reality by connecting adults who influence children’s environments (home, school, community, policy, and industry) so that STEAM becomes a consistent, reinforcing presence in a child’s life.

Coalition Work = Better Lived Experiences for Children

When coalition work is done well, it changes what a child experiences day to day:

  • At home: Parents feel equipped to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence, even if STEAM was not part of their own educational journey.

  • At school: Educators gain culturally relevant tools, partners, and real-world connections that strengthen learning.

  • In the community, Youth see STEAM reflected in familiar places, community centers, churches, and festivals, not just classrooms.

  • In the future: Young people begin to imagine themselves in STEAM pathways because they’ve seen people who look like them invest in their growth.

Coalition work ensures that STEAM is not episodic, but embedded—woven into the environments where children live, learn, and grow.

Who the STEAM Coalition Brings Together

The strength of the STEAM Coalition lies in its diversity of voices and roles:

  • Parents & Families who shape curiosity and confidence at home

  • Educators who connect learning to culture and real-world relevance

  • Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs who link STEAM to innovation and careers

  • Policymakers & Public Officials who influence access, funding, and systems

  • Faith & Community Leaders who provide trust, space, and continuity

  • Nonprofit & Industry Partners who expand resources and opportunity

Together, these stakeholders help create pathways from access → mastery → generational prosperity.
